Replacing the old organ at Redeemer with a New Organ!

Yes, The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer is replacing our organ with a new organ!  Our old organ is breaking down, and parts cannot be located or upgraded.  The new organ at Redeemer will be a completely new digital organ with thousands of new features, and lower maintenance costs.

Most Importantly, our new organ will reliably and beautifully enhance our liturgies.

Help us reach our goal by December 2024!

R.A. Colby Incorporated is a custom organ manufacturer and installer that will be providing the new organ to Redeemer.  Years of research and on-site consultations have led to a custom organ proposal for Redeemer.  Once the project is funded, installation will only take a few weeks on site at Redeemer.

The upgrades over our current organ will be tremendous!   Here are some of the benefits:

  • Yearly maintenance costs will be significantly decreased
  • Our current organ pipes will be retained and used with the new system
  • Hundreds of new organ settings and sounds will be added
  • Pre-Recorded organ music can be programmed to automatic play
  • Digital pre-sets will be available for each organist, allowing for custom setup for each organist
  • Additional sound projection will add to a "Surround Sound" effect for a more realistic experience in the church
  • Tuning of the organ will be more precise with temperature and humidity adjustments
  • Repairs will be much easier with the new modern components
  • A completely new Organ Console and Keyboards with complete custom labeling
  • Manual magnetic Pistons on the Console
  • Dual magnetic drawknob units
  • Led lighting system for sheet music and all controls
  • All electrical wiring will be up to current building codes
