New Organ Console Update

Information on the new Organ Console

From the Console

The New Redeemer Organ Console

On the last New Organ update I indicated we are in Phase II of the organ project—the design and

building of the console. So what exactly does that mean? Well, the console is the “driver’s seat”

or “cockpit” for all organ operations. Everything from volume to sounds is controlled from the

console. Our new console will execute this with solid state electronics without the mechanical,

outdated and unreliable contacts. For your consideration I have provided a humerous console

sketch from “The Young Person’s Guide to the Pipe Organ” and an actual picture of our new

console.

Sitting at the organ console is a thrilling ride. If you, your children or grandchildren want to visit

the choir loft one Sunday after church just let me know. I will be glad to let anyone explore this

most special instrument for our Sunday liturgical experience!

Remember, you can make donations in honor or memory of a loved one. Your name will be

recognized on the donor plaque and in the dedication program. No gift is too small nor too large.

Soli Deo Gloria,

Tracie
